Our music is as if U2 and The Killers met for breakfast over a Starbucks Double Tall Sumatra cup of coffee with a new wave of pop. So, Alternative/New Wave/Pop/Rock could possibly describe our style.

I have been playing drums for Abandon since September of 2005. Since then, we have shared the stage with Building 429, The Afters, Kevin Max, Sarah Macintosh, Rebecca St. James, Phil Wickham, and more. One of the greater accomplishments of my career is that Abandon got signed to Major label EMI-CMG/Forefront records in November 2007. We just finished recording not too long ago, and we had our 5 song EP released digitally (iTunes and the like) in July 2008. Two Abandon singles hit the airwaves on June 26, 2008 and our full length will be released Winter 2009.
After the first time I talked to Randy Ramirez, I was hooked. He was easy to talk to and I was so excited about what they could do for me as an artist. Not only that, Randy has a passion to connect on a friendship level; not just professional, but getting to know each other before we made a business decision. I am proud to be an endorser for Genesis Drums. These guys are the best and no one else on the market can beat the prices or friendship. Truly a blessing from God.
